  Our Safety Record

"Halliburton has used CSS for 14 years now. Their safety performance has been exceptional for the 1000's of man-hours worked.  They do everything for us including moves (inter-city and ship to many of our field facilities throughout Alberta and British Columbia), maintenance and paper recycling.  They also handle all of our office equipment moves including high-end computer equipment.  I like that they're a one-stop shop. Their service is exceptional. Their staff is always hard working, professional, competent and trustworthy. CSS is well known as the best in the City and I'd be the first person to tell you this. I would highly recommend CSS to anyone."

Corporate Profile

CSS commenced operations in Calgary in September of 1984. Originally, the intent of the principal (Wayne Reid) was to be a service representative on site, as needed, for small internal jobs. Soon, our clients began to rely on Wayne and his expertise and started to request additional services. Never wanting to say "no, we don't offer that service", Wayne always smiled and replied "no problem".

We believe that the services we offer and our reference list speak for our ability to supply our clients with "One Stop Shopping". From hanging a simple picture, repairing a lock, replacing a cupboard hinge to relocating 1,000 or more offices - CSS is the company to call.

Our client base has expanded to include: Encana Corporation, Suncor Energy, Hunt Oil, Alliance Pipeline and Talisman Energy to name but a few. We like to consider ourselves an extension of our clients' in-house staff. Our approach in dealing with all of our clients is to meet them on common ground to reach the same business objectives. That is, to service the "environment" at a fair price with minimal impact on performance and property.

CSS is a company with a vision of the future. We are always eager to meet new challenges with a creative attitude and open mind. The days of hiring a "truck and two men" are long gone, as increasingly more sophisticated office environments are becoming commonplace.

The value of good service, quality expertise and a flexible approach to clients' needs is stressed and understood by all of our service representatives. We strive to understand how each client does business and to adapt to their individual needs.

This is our formula for a successful partnership!

To provide clients with high-quality, cost-effective services in every aspect of our business.

CSS has been involved in the community for many years and was a long-time supporter of the Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta. Currently, CSS supports The Cassie Campbell Street Hockey Festival.

Ronald McDonald House® Southern Alberta is a compassionate, safe and affordable home away from home for out-of-town families whose children are receiving treatment in a local Calgary hospital. The purpose of Ronald McDonald House® Southern Alberta is to keep families together and provide a supportive environment while the family member is being treated for their illness.

The Cassie Campbell Street Hockey Festival is fun for all ages and is a celebration of Canada's favorite game! The unique fundraising event in support of Ronald McDonald House® Southern Alberta includes a carnival themed Family Festival, Celebrity Street Hockey Game, silent auction, beer garden and a street hockey tournament for adults and youth!

Adele & Wayne Reid (2003)

"CSS is one of the most consistent companies I have ever dealt with. From the initial phone call to the completion of the work, everything is done with accuracy and competency. Everyone is so pleasant and easy to deal with. The movers that come out are always dressed presentably, and they're polite and hard working. They are mindful of time constraints and always very careful with our property. Never have we had damages when moving furniture, setting up an office or hanging pictures. If issues arise while involved in a job, the movers will always seek advice and guidance to ensure that Hunt will be happy with the outcome."

Everything was done exceptionally well, from our pre-visit move discussions, to dismantling the file systems and reassembling the systems, to moving the office contents to the post-move assistance."
